bowling - wk26

I belong to a bowling league these days. Actually for, i think, 5 glorious years now. most of the combatants on my team have worked with me in the past. i’ve have increased my level of play over the 5 years. we finally got to the point where we don’t lose every week. the season is grueling. 33 weeks of bowling every wednesdy night. the only time we get off is when either xmas eve, xmas, nye, or new years falls on a wed. the first 10 weeks are great after the long summer break with no bowling, but now we are in the home stretch, only 8 weeks left.

Bowling takes place at leilani lanes. It is one of maybe five bowling alleys in the city limits (sunset bowl, the garage, university HUB, and west seattle bowl are the others).

I think we are currently tied for fourth but things did not go in our favor this evening. We lost all three games and total pins. We could fall to sixth or seventh in the standings. My first game was pitiful but i managed to pick it up in the second two games. Underneath the three bowling lines are my current stats for the year.

Well, well… I guess I’ll just have to remember to bring my ball and shoes when visiting Seattle.

I completely understand about the 30+ week, non-stop seasons - bowling leagues are a true test of mettle.

are you sure you remember where seattle is? it’s a complicated drive.

Huh, it seems Beef has developed a bit of a smart mouth as of late.
Yeah, I’m pretty sure I remember how to do that. Although, it will look entirely different coming from the opposite direction.

I-94 may be shorter but I still like the drive on I-90 through SD and Wyoming better than ND. The badlands and the corn palace make it all worth it.

I’ve only made the north route once. I think I’ve done the south route 6 or 7 times (not roundtrip - one way or the other).

True that on the corn palace! I would never skip South Dakota for Norh.

Dad- try a period “.” or a comma “,”. Capitalization is always good too. Plus you’re bowling cheering section had to be paid off.

When we were in Sayulita, I found it odd that both you and Blake were reading the latest issue of League Bowler Quarterly or something crazy like that.
