sunshine

Spring has been quite beautiful this year. Much too early though. The last six weeks or so have mainly been high 50s, low 60s and sunshine. Much to the suprise of all the plants and flowers in the area, they are getting an early wake up call this year.

It was so nice and happy friday after work. I decided to take a few pictures of the springtime growth.

i’m not to good with names of plants but if i do know i will tell.
here are some happy little pink flowesr from the front yard.

here are some nice buds on the cherry tree in our neighbor’s yard.

the husk of a dead sunflower from last summer. we have two sunflower stalks hanging on in the backyard. for some reason or another they weren’t pulled and none of the weather this winter has been able to take them down.

a flowering bush

moss growing on the base of our cherry tree

a bud from one of the rhodys in the back. the flash makes it way more spooky than it ought to be.

and finally, some four leaf clovers!

I mean no condesention – honest. I’m good at the worthless details – the kind of stuff that no one gives a rat’s a$$ about but on which I’m thrilled to demonstrate hidden depths of knowledge. Feel free to edit those posts that smack of such silliness.

i took no condesention out of the post. sometimes, i just like to see myself type. edit, i dare say not, that takes half the fun out of this setup.

ask sack or i’m sure megan will comment, i also think i know most everything (useless bits especially).

Beef thinks he knows ALL. So when anybody knows something he doesn’t, well, it’s nice.
