over the weekend, with the assistance of one Mr. john rossi, I acquired a new automobile. this is the fifth car i have had the pleasure to own in my lifetime. the first was the glorious 1983 tercel documented here. upon its demise, my parents reluctantly (hee hee) handed me the 1985 chevrolet celebrity . i got by for a few years on that car until the radiator broke and the engine siezed up. however before the chevy bit the dust, i had acquired a brown two toned vanagon. it was a nice vehicle with a few good times but it never quite lived up to expectations. the vanagon gave up and so did i. i was carless for 6 months or so. soon, another wonderful car came into my life, a 1983 saab 900s. oh what a little dream that car was. i’ve had the saab for almost five years. it has treated me well. good times, bad times.

this is documentation to watch the phenomenal growth of my beard.
Yes, yes. I saw this event in 2003 on the web as it was occuring . (Here are the full results.) I thought to myself - Beef, you should got to this sometime. You’ve got a healthy beard, why not go somewhere it is appreciated. This time I’ve still got 6 months to fully whip the beard into shape. I know what a lot of you are thinking - Beef, how hard can it be to grow a beard like yours? It’s not all milk and cookies. I sit around a lot and really reflect on what the possibilities my beard has. Sometimes, when I’m by myself, I’ll - no wait, I’m talking about my beard aren’t I? But still, it takes a lot of concentration to realize the full potential my beard has to offer. Each section requires a certain amount of attention to realize its full potential. I’ve come to the conclusion that certain types of music makes it grow better. Early 70s miles stretches it out, sort of lets it relax and let gravity work its full magic of extruding it from my skin.
But I digress, there are quite a few categories. I’ve also included this link to the beard club that is hosting it in berlin . The championships are conveniently located around Oktoberfest . What could be finer than beer drinking and beard contests.
What I really need to find is a benefactor who is willing to support in my goal of attaining world class standing in the elite world of growing facial hair. If anyone has any ideas about who I may call for a sponser, I will gladly take them. What’s the harm in writing a few letters. All i need is a plane ticket and maybe some beard money.
Here are a few pictures to inspire you during your morning shave. Is it all worth, why do i cut it all away everyday when i can look so strong, handsome, and striking as this fine figure. Alas, we can not all be beef but we can all dream.

well, twice in the past week there has been something seriously wrong with comcast’s high speed internet access. here is what happened last week. I don’t know if it was the same thing last night, sounds like it. I could get an internet signal but no web pages were able to get through.
I guess it’s not too bad of service. These have been the only two problems in the 4 years or so I have had cable internet. Well, other than the whole installation mess, but from my experience, that happens to everyone
I’ve browsed around a little bit and found some themes that I may like. If you have a few minutes please switch to the different themes shown on the side and tell me what your opinion is about some of them.
Keep in mind that I will be switching colors and adding the functions that I currently have on the main page when I figure out which layout I like best.
My greatest and most complete evening of bowling. It is pleasant to have the ball do my bidding for most of the evening. I especially enjoyed the five strikes to end the first game. We were able to go 6-2 for the week. We are down to the final 2 weeks and then no bowling until september.
And for accomplishing a 600 series with an average less than 160 - I get this wonderful prize!
Not for the faint hearted, Blowfly has amazed his listeners over the years with his nasty funk. A majority of his records were released during the 70s and 80s on vinyl to critical acclaim. His no holds barred XXX funk make 2 Live Crew seem like toddlers. Nothing is sacred as he takes some of the great soul/funk/r&b hits from the 60s and 70s and makes them nasty. During the 90s, his records were released on CD and a new era was born. He has an alter ego, Clarence Reid who plays more straight ahead soul and r&b.
I’ve known about this show since early February and bought tickets in anticipation. I bought tickets 3-6. Not many people excited about as me but it will be an epic show. The location is strange, the show is at the funhouse which is normal a punk club. My inside sources tell me that the owner/booking agent for the funhouse met Clarence on myspace and the details just sorted themselves out.
Good times will be had by all and I will post pictures either tonight or tomorrow of this living legend.
