the sound of young america

I’ve been listening to “The Sound of Young America” radio program lately via the podcast. It is quite entertaining. Jesse “America’s Radio Sweetheart” Thorn is the host of this radio show which is based out of Santa Cruz and is currenlty on the Santa Cruz radio station and one other in Hattiesburg, MS.

He interviews a wide range of ecelectic guests that fall into a few categories – sketch comedy, performance art, musician. or just strange occurance. Look here for a sampling of past guests. I’ve been listening via the podcasts from the link on the website. (This doesn’t mean you need an ipod to listen to it. Most media players will do.)

tsoya is pretty terrific. Though when they hit me with a “lame comedians” block, I tune out. I am impressed with Jesse — nice radio voice but he is super well rounded. If you know of any other worthy podcasts do share.
