2005’s Top Movies that are now out on DVD

Since Beef mostly watches cartoons, I decided to step up and write this post. First off, I watch a lot of movies and I watch all kinds. Some days you want to watch crappy movies because you can’t knit and read subtitles at the same time. Secondly, I decided to just write about DVD released movies. They’re more accessible. And lastly, get netflix. It kicks ass and you can see all of the movies I’ve watched and rated (I’ve rated over 1500 movies.)

I’ve had a chance to read a few books this year. The Seattle Public Library is a good resource to get all my books. You can reserve them online and they will ship them to the branch of your choice. Amazon works well in finding new books i might want to read.

If you want, take a look at the books that were read in 2005. Mainly hard science fiction, some science and history non-fiction, a little fantasy, and a little surrealistic fiction to top it off. I enjoy faster than light travel, shunting personalitities/brains in new bodies, and deciphering new life forms.

it has been a bit since i have put anything in this glorious space. it’s not due to the lack of eventfull occurences in the past month or so. quite the opposite. sack was in town. turkey day was fun. a wedding with guests that had not been seen in a while. a work christmas party. a 40th bday party.

so many things. mainly it lies within the camera. crappy pictures have been taken and they just don’t seem worth the effort to put up. but hopefully all of this will change, i’m looking for a new camera – something smaller, a faster speed between pics, sound capture, hopefully reuse by 512K xd card which limits me to olympus and fuji i think. if you have any ideas, drop a line and i will take any advice into consideration.

here are a few pic collections of a couple of events. the first is sack’s visit to the great northwest for supercomputing and general tomfoolery.
