hamma hamma

the past weekend took us to the wonderful reaches of the olympic peninsula with a visit to the hamma hamma cabin. A wonderful place, located up the hamma hamma river valley on the east side of the olympic peninsula. we go up every 6 months or so. the winter brings hot fires, rain, and snow. the summers bring hot fires, lounging abround, and wading in the nearby river.

these pictures are from july.
the serene river scene. the mollusk massacre. slugs.

mosaic

once again, taking a page from sack.

make a big picture out of many small pictures using andreamosaic!

Here is an image of Tiberious from a party last year.

here is a zoomable link to the photomosaic of the same picture. It had about 5000 images to pick from, only repeating an image once if it fit well, 30 images wide, and about 25 images high.

props must also go out to the sweet flash zoomify tool.

seahawks

Well, I was blessed enough today to get a ticket to tomorrows playoff game against the redskins for face value. sweet, sweet, seahawks. please do not fail me in this moment of glory and wonder. please smite thy enemies under the shroud of the doom filled rain and allow me to find my way home at the end of the day.

Hopefully I will be able to write an intoxicated post script to this post tomorrow professing the wonders that the seattle seahawks are this year.

edit Monday 8.30 PM PST The seahawks were victorious. I drank a little. I yelled a little. And then I waited for a bus that never came. In two different locations. A few pictures to enjoy. With a link to the rest of them.

the last picture was to show that i was actually at the game and not drunk in the parking lot. well, i was drunk in the parking lot, but i was also in the game. that is attending the game not actually “in” the game. etc. etc. etc.
