An adventure waiting to happen, Saturday May 6th. No pictures of the days early events, relaxing in the cloudy haze of a seattle saturday in may. Seersucker was in the air, as the ponies engaged in their surroundings, and the bourbon slid over the gently bruised leaves of the mint.

A small mass of humans plied themselves with deep fried turkey, red velvet cake, dough encrusted olives, and wagers of infinite possibilities. The horsies ran, people won, and Brain instructed.

No pictures, only memories of a fine saturday afternoon.

My party wasn’t going to end so easily. The benz guided me back to the confines of west seattle, a little relaxation in the home before taking off on another quest.

Maureen’s 30th birthday was later in the night. Bling bling was the theme of the party. I enjoy putting on a good show as anyone else. I attempted to put forward my best party appearance. Nothing like the straw hat, to layers of checks, and genuine plastic bling for that down home jump back feeling. A nice gift of pimp my cubicle is the fitting bling birthday gift. Heike and Terry explore the silver in their lives. For future reference, if you want plastic bling with a halloween feel, head to Champion Party Supply. The final group, captured for eternity, tries to touch the “animal” side of the bling.

ed also provides some photo documentation of his spring parties with Maureen’s coming near the end.

    Dude… your beard… It’s, it’s, it’s GROOMED! Is there PRODUCT in there?!

How does this impact the Beard & Mustache contest bid?

That was the big dilemma. When would be a good time to trim and still achieve the ability to dominate other beards around the world. This still gives me 14 months to bring it back up to par. It grows like a weed so I’m not too worried.

like a good tree or shrub i’m thinkin’ a bit of beard pruning can only invigorate the growth (though this hasn’t seemed to work on the top of my head).
