I’d like to thank whoever sent me a subscription to the economist. Ha ha, I also think it’s a fitting issue to get first, “Happiness.”

I love this magazine but in the past haven’t got a subscription because it is quite spendy and it is a whole lot of reading to do in a week. I buy it once a month or so and immerse myself in it. Now I’ve got steady reading for the next year. Once again, thanks!

This incident led me on a search for a new benz. There were times where I felt I was going to sell myself short and other times where I thought nothing would ever come my way. Granted, it was only two months, but I get impatient when I know what I want yet I can’t get it. Hopefully, this will serve me well. I was able to find and purchase another Mercedes 300D, it’s a year earlier than my first one but only has 210,000 miles on it. This beauty is cream. The lady I bought it from was the original owner. She used to have personalized plates that said “GYPCLDY”.

We’ll give it another try and hope that an unfortunate accident does not befall this classic.

I went back to Iowa for a few days. Was able to pack a good amount of stuff in. I saw the family and got to hang out with Jadelyn (my niece). Currently, the complete entertainment package. We went up to Iowa City for a day to see Brad, Robin, Joe Dixon, Angie, Carl, Mena, Nellie, and Harris. Good Times. Was able to catch a Hawkeye game. The two shots of the game represent the exact moment before it all fell apart. Late in the first half up by four, the next play was a 62 yard pass for a touchdown. Sigh.

Better late than never. Posting has been a chore for one reason or another, here is a flurry of posts to get caught up on things I have done over the last month and a half.

The first set is halloween. I was a reborn elvis back fresh from a USO Tour in Iraq. megan was modest mouse and the man in the mask is el diablo verde. no one knows his true identity and i think no one really wants to know.
