another fine record label, light in the attic. they are based in seattle. i’ve picked up many of their fine recordings. mostly reissues from the 70s, focusing on funk, soul, and general goodness.
here is a betty davis track from their most recent reissues. she makes reason #55 why if i had a time machine, the early 70s would be the place to go.

once again, i’ve gone through a drought of not mentioning any of the exciting things that i’m up to. i know there must be a lot of dissapointed people out there. so we’re going to rattle off a few posts here in the next couple of days.
this first set involves our trip to new orleans a month or so ago for our friend lewis’ wedding. overall a fantastic time, the french quarter was in good shape and we managed to avoid trouble in general. i think joe dixon’s post made me get going.
