We have triumphantly returned to the great NW. Megan and I set off for 2 weeks to Spain and Norway to sit on the beach, eat, drink, and visit a few friends. I’d say an overall success. Here is a link to the first 5 days of our vacation. Over the next few days I’ll change the captions and add some more text to this post for a better description of the trip. Big thanks for Mike and Terry watching the pugs while we were gone.
Our trip to Europe was quite fun. meagn had never been and I’ve only been once, 11 years ago. We thought about greece or italy but upon further review decided to hit barcelona. Nice weather, the ocean, and lots of stuff to see in town. Our first 5 days consisted of tooling around barcelona. PLenty of parks to visit, the Picasso museum, Gaudi architecture, and things to eat and drink.
Most days consisted of sleeping till 10 or so, getting up and seeing a few sites and then relaxing the evening and night away in the numerous tapas restaurants and bars. Hard to go wrong with plentiful bottles of wine, refreshing glasses of clara (lemonade and beer), and sweet sweet cured meat.
