Wheeee. This is happening on Saturday in Bremerton, WA. Just a ferry ride away from Seattle. I’m interested in finding a few people who might want to go over and watch the merry festivities and get drunk with me.

Check-in is early – between 10.00 and 11.45. Then 12-2 is the mustache categories. 2-4 the partial beard categories. 4-6 the beard categories. As you can see, i will be waiting around until the late afternoon. Megan may come over later in the afternoon.

Some info can be found here.

Hopefully this is a preview for my dominance in Anchorage in 2009.

Off to San Diego to Watch the US Open this weekend. I’ve only got tickets to Friday’s round. It should be fun. Then off to Tijuana for a day. Mr. Pease will be with me and Mr. Patton is traveling down from the OC.

Read the spectator rules for fun!

Edit (July 13) – Never followed up on this. Pease and I had a great time. And yes, I do love Tiger Woods. Here are a few photos from the trip, albeit a month late. No cameras or cell phones at the golf course and since we were taking the train/bus to get there – no need to risk it. Just a few pictures from out hotel and a shot in Tijuana.

tuesday night was our 1st childbirthing class. oh the excitement. the lady teaching the class was quite nice and very enthusiastic. for the first time i got to see the birth of a baby on a video. wasn’t as gross as i expected but i’m sure in person will take on a whole new light. there were 8 couples in all. the class is 4 – 2 hour sessions. most of last night dealt with knowing when you are in labor and he different things that happen leading up to it. good to get this information from someone in person instead of just reading it again in a book.

we came home after that and megan had gotten a package from her mom and dad – wheee – a rocking chair. so we set that up and megan tried it out with little baby tiberious. we also wanted to try out the bassinet. it’s a good hiding place for tiberious. we tried to swaddle tiberious but that didn’t work so much, so he just got to wear a hat.

    my baby! good looking! adorable

    who me?

i was walking to catch the bus when i stumbled across this incident @ 3rd and Columbia. No specifics, this is what it was.

    whoops!

This makes me smile. (via reason hit n run)

In the past year, we’ve managed to get rid of some of the annoying grass that doesn’t want to stay alive. we had our friend Anya come in and rip up a section of the grass. Last fall, we added a few plants put not to much. For whatever reason, I’ve been bored the last couple of months and decided to add a few things to make it more lively and interesting. Overall, I think it has turned out fairly nice. Some, rocks, some bark, and various annuals and perennials. The final stroke of boredom struck on Memorial Day. I was gazing at the last main empty spot and was trying to figure out what to do with it. I had a stroke of inspiration and decided I needed to put a pond in. A couple hours of digging, a few missteps, and a few days later – we now have a pond. It will be interesting to see how things grow in. Most likely, I’ve over planted and will have to figure out what to do with things come the fall or next spring. And always, I have to throw in the token shot of the rhodies and lilac. Granted they are on the down swing but they are still a reminder of what sold us on the house 6 years ago.
