Seun Kuti and Egypt 80 blasted through town June 28th, The usually crowd – Jason, Pease, and a few Feldman’s – good times. Seun definitely has his father’s mannerisms and energy. A smaller venue might have been more fun – maybe the showbox instead of the moore – but still excellent. Lots of dancing and no encore. But the crowd was hooting and hollering for a good 15 minutes after the show trying to get them back on. But then we finally see the band memberes file up the aisles on the side- they wouldn;t be coming back.
